Habanero Hundred

August 21 - 23, 2026
7IL Ranch
Cat Spring, TX 78933 US

Town to Trails

New for 2026, the Habanero Hundred start line has moved to the City Hall of Bellville for our ultra runners and relays, starting at the traditional High Noon with the firing of a six-shooter.

We are thankful to the community of Bellville for allowing us to build new traditions and events in the city that businesses and residents can enjoy. We welcome spectators, shops, and vendors to join us for the first Habanero Hundred festival from 9 AM to the start of the race at Noon on Saturday, August 22nd.

The distance from Bellville to 7IL is the same as the normal trail loop (10km). The leg from Bellville to 7IL will be your first "lap", before continuing on the trail as normal.

Participants

The Town Hall start is for our 100 Mile, 100 Kilometer, 50 Kilometer, and Relay (leg 1) participants only. The 26.2M, 13.1M, 10km, and remaining relay legs will start at the 7IL Ranch (also at High Noon).

Participant-only Shuttles - Getting to Town

IMPORTANT: LOG IN TO YOUR RUNSIGNUP REGISTRATION AND UPDATE YOUR BUS ADD-ON RESPONSE TO CHOOSE A BUS TIME - THIS IS LOCATED UNDER THE ADD-ON SECTION AT THE BOTTOM.

Our ultra runners and leg one runners are welcome to utilize our free shuttle system from 7IL Ranch to Bellville. Shuttles begin at 10:30 AM and depart every 15-minutes until the final shuttle at 11:40 AM. Shuttles are one-way only. Do not leave items on the bus. We will have the Huff Brewery and a number of runner areas to keep cool and hydrated before the start. We will have a drop box for items you would like transported back to the ranch.

Alternatively, we highly encourage family, friends, spectators, crew, and relay teams to come to Bellville for the pre-race and start activities. Let's show Bellville our support! Parking throughout town will be available. This is a great option for relay teams to drop their first runner off (leg 2 might want to wait at the ranch). You will have plenty of time to return to the ranch - please take the Highway 36 route to Cat Spring to avoid the running route on Mill Creek Rd [Google Maps Route to 7IL]

If a participant misses their start in Bellville, they are welcome to start with the trail start at high noon at 7IL.

Arrival in Bellville

Whether you arrive by shuttle or personal vehicle, use the
Bellville Jail Museum, next to the start line at City Hall, as your reference point. Several businesses will be open and ready for you to use during the morning (see below).

Use the back door, next to the start line, to the Huff Brewing Company Pub, where you can stay cool, hydrate, get changed, and use the bathroom.

The Gathery
is open for coffee and breakfast! Check out our friends for some great coffee, classic Texas-style country wear, and tasty food.

Spectators & Community

Get your cowbells, noisemakers, water hoses, and spray guns ready! We welcome you to join us at City Hall for the High Noon start - featuring Chief Smalley in his classic sheriff outfit and firing of the six-shooter! Runners will head south down Holland to Hacienda, providing additional locations for cheering runners on the route to the 7IL Ranch. I'm sure they won't mind a water hose spraying and music as they go by!

Vendors are welcome to set up like a typical farmers' market and can reach out to info@trailracingovertexas.com for more information.

After the start, feel free to join us at the 7IL Ranch. Our runners have until 6 PM on Sunday to complete their event.
